These images of Shirosasa Satsumadori below show what I mentioned on the first Satsumadori page about the difference in body types. The differences could have arisen due to the fact that a good jumping, mid-air fighter is usually of the lighter type. The heavier type could be due to selection for mass instead of speed. This is my personal opinion.
